History:
In the early 1970’s Michael Gill began his own practice as a dentist in Bakersfield. In 1977 during his weekend retreats to the central coast, Gill visited a barren 25 acres for sale in Peachy Canyon. At the time he acknowledged he had little intuition of the potential this property had for growing grapes. However his friend Robert Nadeau recognized its potential and lay out the grid work for the vineyard in 1998. After years of hard work, the perfect temperature and premier sole has created a perfect grape growing property. Now Gill Cellars is producing a modest 1,000 cases annually, ensuring quality and control in every bottle.
About:
Growing up in the oil fields of Taft, Gill was first introduced to fine wines during his postgraduate years in dental school. His best friends parents were professional photographers, and were hired to create extravagant displays of fine wine, cheeses, and food. The fate of these displays were at the mercy of Michael and his friends appetites, which would act as the initial catalyst of his taste for fine wine.

Colonics gently cleanse and exercise the colon by filling and emptying the colon with filtered and temperature regulated water. Every function in your body, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual is dependent on the attention that you give it. The elimination of undigested or fermented food and other wasted products is as important as the proper digestion and assimilation of food. The colon has been referred to as the sewer system of the body. It is the place where we store the waste material that most of us would rather not think about.
Healing begins with detox; the average American stores 1-12 pounds of fecal matter in their colon. If this toxic waste isn’t rid of, it can cause disease and affect us emotionally. Colon cancer kills more men and women than prostate or breast cancer, so paying attention to this oft ignored part of the body is essential to life.
A colonic is very different than an enema. After the gentle insertion of a small tube, sterilized surgical tubing carries water in, and waste out in a gently pressurized system. Except for the brief insertion of the tube, you are fully covered during a colonic. There may be some slight discomfort if you pass gas, old waste matter, or have an extremely congested colon. Remember that if you have any doubts or fears, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have.

- Wash all fruits and vegetables with a vegetable wash (from the health food store) or a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution.
- Soak nuts, seeds and beans overnight for better digestion.
- Slow down! Take time to chew your foods well. It takes 20 minutes for your brain to register satiety.
- Reduce portion sizes, and eat smaller, more frequent meals.
- Use Celtic sea salt instead of table salt for mineral replenishment.
The above supplements ensure good digestive health once your digestive tract regains balance.
Additional Recommendations for Optimal Digestion and Health:
? Be aware of your bowel health and frequency. At least one bowel movement each day is essential; two to three well-formed bowel movements daily are ideal.

We often feel pain in a generalized area (shoulders, neck, low back etc.). Massage Therapy however, attempts to identify which muscle is overly tight, sore, has a Trigger Point or what the specific issue is. We can then relieve pain by applying appropriate massage techniques for the identified problem. When the pain is relieved, we follow up with periodic massage as maintenance to prevent the problem from reoccurring. We believe massage should be a part of everyone’s regular wellness plan.
We help clients heal from injury, release adhesions (knots), cope with stress, relax, and preserve functional capability, with soft tissue therapy.
Brief company history
Sandra and Darryl Kilpatrick completed the Massage Practitioner course at California Holistic Institute and received certification from the California Massage Therapy Council in 2013. They were drawn to help people in the therapeutic realm and opened their practice with Griffin Chiropractic. They continued their education and went on to graduate from the 500 hour Massage Therapist course in 2014. They honed their relaxation massage skills by working at Massage Envy. They now offer therapeutic massage for pain release of muscular injury as well as relaxation massage for regular wellness maintenance.
