Howard Brewen is a third-generation resident of northern San Luis Obispo County. After graduating from UC Davis, Howard began his professional career as a licensed racehorse trainer managing a small stable that eventually grew into a large operation competing at all five major racing venues within the state. Always seeking challenging opportunities, Howard’s work experience includes positions in the private and public sectors as well as entrepreneurial endeavors that remain closest to his heart. Service-oriented ventures have been a passion of Howards for many years.
